Building with Purpose: Sustainable & Eco Building

I'm deeply passionate about sustainable and eco-focused building. I believe in the use of bio-based materials that come from the earth and return to it after their life cycle. Hemp, straw-bale, adobe, and other earthen building methods aren't just lower-impact, they represent a genuinely innovative way of creating healthy homes. I'm drawn to construction that works with natural systems instead of against them, and I stay closely engaged with this space, from hands-on workshops (like Earthship Biotecture) to ongoing involvement with organizations like the Living Future Institute, Hemp Build Alliance, and Natural Building Alliance. This isn't just a professional interest for me, it's part of a longer-term vision I'm building toward, one where regenerative, bio-based materials become the standard rather than the exception.

I’ve always felt most connected to myself and the world when I’m outdoors. That connection is what drives my work in environmental stewardship. I care deeply about protecting the natural systems that support our communities and future generations, and I believe meaningful change happens when values are paired with action. Through my sustainability consulting work, I partner with organizations and municipalities to thoughtfully integrate environmental and social responsibility into strategy, operations, and communications.
